A: This will depend on who was negligent. If the property is in disrepair, and the owner should have known about the damage, it is highly possible they are responsible. Owners may also be responsible when an employee that is working in behalf of the owner causes injuries, false arrests and other complaints. It may also depend on whether you were invited on the property or not. If you are injured in a retail store, you were invited to shop there.
